Counsel to Ohio-based developer of multi-family residential properties in connection with the acquisition of land and the development of multiple apartment communities, including negotiation and preparation of purchase agreements, preparation of easements and access rights, working through zoning and other issues and assisting in obtaining construction and permanent financing
  3. Counsel to real estate entrepreneur in connection with the acquisition of a multi-tenant office building in South Florida, including negotiation and preparation of purchase agreement and related financing, as well as subsequent leasing of space in newly acquired building

Counsel to a major New York publisher for the development of a build-to-suit warehouse and distribution facility, including assistance in the documentation of its design requirements, negotiation and documentation of the facility lease, and assistance to the company in its identification and evaluation of Enterprise Zone and Community Reinvestment Act incentives for its relocation and consolidation of business lines to Northeast Ohio.
  11. Lead counsel to a major West Coast mutual fund for the disposition of a shopping center in Wisconsin, including assistance structuring the proposed solicitation of “highest and best offers,” and negotiation, documentation and closing of the sale transactions.
  12. Special counsel to a nationally prominent real estate developer for the disposition of a full service, national franchise hotel including the identification and presentation of its due diligence materials, assistance with transfer of its franchise license, and the negotiation, documentation and closing of the property’s sale.
  13. Counsel for the negotiation and surrender of a central business district office building to its secured lender as part of an acquisition of a shopping center under construction.
  14. Counsel to purchaser of historic mixed use development in Cleveland, Ohio, including negotiation of purchase agreement, multiple levels of debt financing, and new market tax credits.
